Scope
This is the official website (hereinafter: the “Portal”) of Averdi AG (hereinafter: “Averdi”). The Portal serves to inform our customers and contains a webshop (hereinafter: “Shop”).
The following information and rules on use relate exclusively to this portal. Averdi may engage third parties for the operation of the portal. The following also applies mutatis mutandis to information sent to customers, e.g. in the form of subscribed newsletters. The information and the rules governing its use may change at any time. The changes are binding.
Authorization to use
By visiting and using the Portal and the information thereon, you represent and warrant that you are legally authorized to do so.
Intellectual property and other rights
Averdi is the owner and operator of this portal. All trademarks, names, titles, logos, images, designs, texts and other materials used on this portal belong to Averdi or to a contractual partner of Averdi. No rights (rights of use, intellectual property rights, etc.) are acquired by accessing, downloading or copying pages. The total or partial reproduction, transmission (electronically or by other means), modification, linking or use of the portal for public or commercial purposes is prohibited without prior written consent.
Exclusion of liability
Averdi excludes all liability (including negligence) that may arise from access or inability to access the portal or any of its elements, or from its use. Access to the portal, its use, as well as the backup or archiving of the transmitted data are not guaranteed. Averdi makes no warranties, representations, statements or guarantees with respect to the Portal.
The Portal may contain links to third party websites. These sites (and the links) are not operated or monitored by Averdi. Averdi disclaims any responsibility for the content and the compliance with the legal data protection provisions by the operators of linked websites.
Data transmission via the Internet
The Internet is an open network accessible to everyone and is therefore not generally considered a secure environment. Although individual data packets are generally transmitted in encrypted form, this does not apply to the sender and the recipient. Furthermore, it is possible that data is transferred abroad and thus possibly to a country with a lower level of data protection than Switzerland, even if the sender and recipient are located in Switzerland. Averdi disclaims all liability for the security of data during its transmission via the Internet.
Newsletter
If Averdi offers newsletters or similar publications, these will only be sent to the customer at their express request. There is no legal obligation on the part of Averdi to send newsletters or similar publications. Newsletter subscriptions can be cancelled at any time.
Collection and use of information
Personal data is only collected on this portal to the extent technically necessary. The collected data will not be sold or otherwise marketed by Averdi. Averdi collects personal data for the following purposes: to process your contact and service requests, as well as newsletter subscriptions. In addition, we store other non-personal data in order to continuously improve our services for you. In our server log files, we store information that your browser automatically transmits to us for technical reasons. These are:

For smartphones, tablets and other mobile devices, manufacturer / type designation, if applicable.
As part of the point of sale finder function, geodata in the form of latitude and longitude may be collected if you enter your postcode or other location data, or if your mobile device is equipped with a location function. This is done solely for the purpose of locating the closest points of sale to your location. Your location will not be saved after you leave the portal.
When processing your data, your interests worthy of protection are always taken into account in accordance with the legal provisions. All data collected will be treated as strictly confidential and will only be passed on or made accessible to third parties outside Averdi in the following cases:
When specifically required by applicable law and specifically by the appropriate law enforcement agency;
Insofar as it is necessary for the processing of orders and the advertising of our own range of products and services, we transmit your data to our partner companies who support us in customer care and in the production and dispatch of our advertising materials. Our partners have been carefully selected by us and are obliged to treat your data confidentially in accordance with the statutory provisions and to comply with our own data protection standards. In particular, our partners are not permitted to pass on our customers' data to third parties for advertising purposes;

The secure storage of personal data collected by us (e.g. in connection with subscribed newsletters) is guaranteed.
Own services and services of third-party providers, in particular Google Analytics and Facebook
This portal may use services of Averdi as well as services of third-party providers (hereinafter individually and collectively: “Services”), in particular Google Analytics, a web analytics service of Google Inc. and “like” / “like” social plugins of Facebook Inc. (hereinafter: “Provider”). Such Services collect information and may in particular use so-called “cookies”, i.e. files (e.g. HTML or Flash cookies) which are stored on your computer and which enable an analysis of your use of the portal.
The information generated about your use of this portal (including your IP address) may be transmitted to our servers or servers of third parties in Switzerland or abroad, stored and processed there and may possibly be assigned to your person. Averdi and the providers may use this information for the purpose of evaluating your use of the portal, compiling reports on portal activity for Averdi and providing other services relating to portal activity and internet usage in general. This information may also be transferred to other third parties in Switzerland and abroad. There may be no appropriate legal data protection abroad.
Depending on the browser and software installed, this data processing (in particular the installation of cookies) can only be limited or prevented. Information on how to manage the relevant privacy and storage settings can be found on the website of your browser software and, in certain cases, on the website of the manufacturer (e.g. for Flash cookies on the website of Adobe Systems).
By using this portal, you consent to the processing of data about you in the manner and for the purposes set out above.
Data security
The secure storage of personal data (e.g. in connection with subscribed newsletters) is guaranteed. However, Averdi cannot guarantee the security of data transmission on the Internet; in particular, we point out that there is a risk of access by third parties when data is transmitted by e-mail.

Despite taking the greatest care, incorrect information cannot be completely ruled out. All information is non-binding.
